Recoup is seeking to recruit an experienced and creative individual to assist in clinical activities. This position reports directly to Recoup’s Clinical Head of Department, with responsibility for leading the development and execution of a transformational Clinical Agenda focused on providing the diagnosis and psychological treatment of mental, behavioral, and emotional illnesses. To achieve this vision, Recoup emphasizes involving patients and other key stakeholders in all aspects of the clinical process.

Head of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Operations and Training

Job Specifications

We are looking for a Head of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Operations and Training.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Define, establish and deploy medical procedures addressing physical & mental conditions/limitations for each care facility of Recoup Health System including clinics, hospital & mobile clinics. The clinical scope covers consultations, assessment tools, diagnostics, therapeutics, prognostics, rehabilitation, palliative care.

  • Define, establish and deploy training programmes in rehabilitation both online and in-person for Recoup Health for inhouse staff & enrolled students.

  • Supervising and guiding other rehabilitation professionals.

  • Define clinical content in mAPPs that can be safely used to engage patients.

  • Medical administration, day-to-day operations & medico-legal compliances of Recoup Health.

  • Deliver safe and quality patient experiences in Recoup Health System both in-person and virtual care, including admission & discharge process.

  • Vendor engagement, equipment commissioning, safe custody, care protocols, maintenance care and optimal utilisation of care related assets.

  • Coordinating for patient related services with external partners like laboratory tests, referrals, etc. 

  • Management reports, Budgeting, P & L responsibility, Quality assurance and control services across healthcare services.

  • Contribute to Recoup Health’s strategic think tank, R&D, Care improvement programmes, etc. 

  • Lead the development and management of inter-disciplinary care practice system with other clinical and wellness disciplines.

  • Plan & administer safe, secured, timely, effective and efficient patient care services. 

  • Work with content development team to produce promotional content.

  • Contribute to and adhere to administrative responsibilities and represent Recoup Health in different engagement interfaces with community, society and corporate clients.

  • Be disciplined in professional work (online, offline), deliverables & reporting.

  • Lead and actively participate in Organizational activities, Learning & Development.

  • Lead & actively participate in research and development activities of Recoup Health.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Graduation (MBBS) from a MCI recognised University and a valid medical license in India.

  • Post graduation (PG Diploma, DNB or Masters) in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

  • Working knowledge of Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi would be an added advantage.

  • Effective public speaking, presentation and teaching skills.

  • Proficiency with MS office and SPSS.

  • Training in research methodology and biostatistics, ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on research projects, and a strong publication record in peer reviewed, indexed medical journals. 

  • Possession of a car or two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
